Excel at Work strives to build a society where youths, young adults and newcomers to Hamilton, ON can reach their full potential, manage their finances effectively and contribute significantly to the economy.

Financial Literacy

This is a money management course delivered to help
individuals including kids over 5 years old and young adults
learn to make smart financial decisions.

Understanding Real Estate

Understanding the importance of buying a primary residence.
Focuses on real estate investing, including understanding
cashflows, understanding various types of loans and real
estate financing, understanding BRRRR etc.

Managing Your Finances
(Personal Finances)

Understand how to build credit, including learning the importance
of saving, budgeting and living below one’s means

Mentorship

Mentorship program is designed to equip individuals with
confidence, foster relationship building and exposure to
opportunities.

FREE Financial Literacy Program for 2025 Spring session - SPONSORED BY SCOTIA BANK

Program Period:

Starts the week of 21st March, 2025 to June 16th, 2025

Times:

Fridays from 5 PM to 6 PM

What to learn:

Taught by a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA). Learn how to budget income and expenses, explore investment options such as TFSA and RRSP, build credit, and understand the importance of filing taxes.
